If you or someone you know has a special talent to share the Woodruff Place Talent Show is just the place to do it. Kids, teens, and adults are welcome. Acts should be from 3- 5 minutes in length. Come to Town Hall for our annual Fall Barbecue and Pitch-in. The Woodruff Place Civic League will provide pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, veggie burgers, and soft drinks.
Bring a side dish or desert to share.

For the last five years, Casino Woodruff has exceeded expectations in fun-making and fund-raising. On February 7, 2009 the legend continues at 7 pm at the town hall with black jack, craps, poker; food, jello and beverages.
Where: Town Hall, 735 East Drive
Casino Night is an "adults only" party featuring games, prizes, food, beverages, and fun, for the benefit of the Historic Woodruff Place Foundation.
No admission fee! But you will need to buy chips if you want to play the games. Advance Chip Deal: Pay $5 in advance and get $6 in chips. Call Jeff (681-1119), Katie (308-7945) or Trish (635-8646) to buy advance chips. (Chips not redeemable for cash, they are used for the silent auction).

Every year, the kids of Woodruff Place organize a wheel rally to raise money for the neighborhood. The contributions of these wonderful youngsters from years past were used to buy one of the 4 seasons statues which were added to the neighborhood in 2008.

Need docents to stand in the house, make sure nothing bad happens, answer questions if needed. Carrie and David will be probably split between front and back area. We need 2 people upstairs (one near front of house [master bedroom, office], one in hallway to steer people down back stairs) and 1 person besides us downstairs in kitchen area to route people out the back.

Parade starts at 10:30 AM. Line up at 10 AM and Cross and Middle. Anyone can participate in the parade (see Paraders)
Route: East on Cross to Middle. North on Middle to 10th. South on Middle to Cross. East on Cross to town hall.
